The Natural Resilience Project

The Natural Resilience Project (NRP) has developed a new way of working with marginalised communities (in this instance destitute, undocumented migrant women) that promotes personal and social resilience through nature connection and community building.

Our project aims to:

  • provide a safe and nurturing place of respite for destitute migrant women
  • reduce social isolation and promote wellbeing through community connection
  • build personal resilience through connecting with nature
  • increase access to networks of support for the participants

We hope to develop a replicable model to support other marginalised groups in society, which can support existing networks and be implemented at a national level.
