The Grange is a family home and 10 acre permaculture smallholding in the East of England. We work with nature to support individuals and communities to build their own resilience and to develop sustainable solutions to their communities needs.
Since 2011 we have welcomed hundreds of people from more than 40 countries who have been forced to flee from persecution and have claimed asylum in the UK. At The Grange they work alongside volunteers and craftspeople from the local community and forge strong links which build community cohesion.
They learn and share skills including pottery, weaving, green woodwork, cooking and music.
